Unvisited Countries
I would go almost anywhere in the world, but this is my shortlist for the countries I still haven't visited. If a country is missing, it's more likely to do with the fact that I don't know enough about it, or that I don't consider it safe enough to visit, than with anything else. In alphabetical order:

Hokey Pokey ice cream?
Does it go well with Mike's distorted muffins?
But seriously, don't you have anything more, uh, representative of NZ cuisine? New Zealand is, literally, on the other side of the world from where I am, you know.
Not that there is anything wrong with ice cream.

Ok ok if you are to ever come to NZ I will take you if I am in the country and treat you to some excellent NZ cuisine..fine dining at it's best! Not that I can find much better than Hokey Pokey ice cream but I will most certainly try. We'd probably have to do something like Rawaka for the touristy feel.

Rawaka? Now we're talking!
(I don't know what the hell that is, but it sounds interesting!)
Actually, if you ever come to Sweden, we'd have sort of the same problem. Not that there isn't excellent Swedish food, it's just that so few places know how to make it. Except for meatballs of course. But younger people almost never eat typically Swedish food, probably because they were scared to death of it in elementary school. Uh, the memories...

I have some friends from overseas who absolutely enjoy the Rawaka experience..if you make it to NZ a good time to come would be around this time, there are a lot of good walks/hikes happening and also pacific island cultural
events.. I expect you to put more thought into my visit...the meatballs scenario isnt cutting it haha...

miamh, how about minced moose meatballs?
But let me know if you plan to come, and I'll see what I can do. Be warned though: one of the most famous Swedish specalties is "surströmming", a heavily fermented herring. It stinks. According to modern folklore, a tourist once got sued by an airline when a can of surströmming exploded in his carry-on. Apparently, they had to replace half the seats in the cabin. I've had a can explode in my apartment, so I can understand their feelings.
Mike, too late:

Minced Moose Meatballs? I've probably had worse and I won't even go into the reason why I wouldn't eat anything with the name moose..(tragic experience and explained just recently on my blog) but anyway..OO I bet I know something to match your surströmming..it will have to be a surprise!!!

I've never tasted surströmming, but those who have say it's good, once you get over the smell. As for NZ equivalents, please no trouble for me, thanks. I'm fine with ice-cream
I haven't seen your blog! A URI would be most helpful.

Ahaha...found it. I forgot to tell you how pleased I was to have a non-blogger comment here. Of course, that was before you mentioned you have a blog. I am starting to feel like Donald Sutherland in The Day Of The Triffids.
No, just kidding of course. It wasn't painful at all, except for that "100 things" list. Some pretty scary stuff there, but I shall have to explore the archives further. The only New Zealanders I know of so far are Mike Hudson and Peter Jackson (not counting the All Blacks here), so I expect it to be a very educational experience.
By the way, what do you mean you've "probably had worse"? Of course you have. Minced moose meatballs are good. There's really not that much fish inside, I promise.
I am going to add Hungary and Portugal to the list.

Ack I had nightmares about the day of the triffids for ages after being made to watch it at school..I think I was far too young .. anyway I don't actually publicise the blog thing it really was something that kept a lot of people updated about stuff because I wasn't doing so good..I am typically quite good at replying to emails but not initiating them, and close friends around the globe were on my back..so anyway its not paticularly exciting so I would read something else before that..ok have I done that one to death? That 100 things about me stuff is a little crazy agreed..but then my family and friends arent very normal!
I'd probably end up crying if I ate anything with the name moose!! Dont make me do it! Oo good places to add and my Mother is kicking me off her PC at work so away I blow..

INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS!
I meant Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Donald Sutherland wasn't even in the Triffids... I read Day of the Triffids before seeing the movie, and the book was much better, and much scarier. Yes, that will do as an explanation for this embarassing mistake.
By the way, did you keep Moose in one of those tiny bowls with a tiny plastic tree?
Your blog: yeah, yeah, yeah, you can say whatever you want, you can even pretend it's nothing special, blah blah blah, but you can't fool me... I've seen it, and I know it's gotten a hold of you...

I actually just remember phasing that whole thing out because it was too disturbing..I was made to read the whole LOTR trilogy and the Hobbit and the Silmarillion when I was like 14 and some really odd stuff in between..I tell you Ive never been the same since..lol..whether it be body's being snatched or flowers eating people I tell you Im not equipped to cope..anyway..Moosey was very well looked after..well SO I THOUGHT! Glass tank, weed, filters..baby I had it all..it eventually came down to overfeeding..bad bad fishy looker after I was.. About the Blog..its become a love/hate thing really..notice there are no comments and its fully intentional lol..prolly why I fill all yours up!

Alexandre, thanks for reminding me
Portugal and Hungary have been added to the list (updating the map will have to wait). I really don't know how I could forget Portugal the first time around.
Will Lisbon ever forgive me?
