Multiple Versions of Internet Explorer
Joe Maddalone of Insert Title Web Design has come up with a way to run multiple versions of Internet Explorer in Windows. As a follow-up, Ryan Parman has zipped stand-alone installations of IE 5.01 and 5.5 and made them available for download. Just unzip and launch.
These have been verified by others to work on Win 2000 and XP, and I can here confirm that they work fine on my copy of Windows 2000 Professional. Fantastic!
Now I'm just waiting for the patch that will make this weblog look good in all Internet Explorer versions.

WHEEE!!! You fixed the footer!!! yay!! it doesn't float under the right side bar anymore! Congrats.
I've been spreading the word about the IE thing too (works like a charm). Even tried submitting it to Slashdot, but it got rejected. Bah.

Oops. Spoke too soon. Footer fixed in the "blank search" page. Not in the comments page. Good luck with that =)

Hello Sergio. I thought I had you fooled there for a while. But yes, it's just the blank search page, and an ugly ugly fix it is too. But I am working on the float thing. I'm still having trouble recreating the border (the light blue border extending vertically), which has had me thinking about a redesign, which would take even more time, so I'm probably going to stick to this look for a while. I am determined to make it work though, especially now that I can see for myself how horribly it breaks in IE 5.5.
Thank you so much
