Fox News Redesigns

It's a hoax! It's a joke! No, it's the new FOXNews.com design!

I am at a loss for words.

Luckily, Barry Parr of MediaSavvy is not. I can only agree with his review in If newspaper Web sites aren't like blogs, at least they're not like Fox News, and this rather telling summary of the overall impressions:

…the Fox News Web site looks like a porn site without the tits.

See also MediaSavvy's related post entitled Why can't a newspaper be more like a blog? Conclusion. And if you can, please have someone at Fox News read it.

Personally, I am going to delete my cookies, clear my cache, and make sure I never ever visit Fox News again.

Good lord — somebody wearing a t–shirt with "THE 90'S RULE" designed that!

    It HAS to be joke!

    That is one theory, yes.

I think it has one great thing about it: you really feel like you're a great designer yourself ;-)

In other words: Holy crap, it's disgusting.

    Oh, another Holst! From Denmark!

    Holy crap, it's disgusting.

Indeed. Actually, it is so bad I can feel nothing but pity for everyone involved. What were they thinking? How can aesthetical and user experience ideals differ so much?

But I guess someone is laughing all the way to the bank.

By the way, we will defeat you next week :)

Yeah, typical: The "experts" (not at all) get the big jobs, and make ugly stuff.

And others, who might be really much better at what they're doing, just mingle around with small things.

And you don't have a chance tomorrow :)
